Winner – ex aequo – of final prize.
It has been displayed displayed @ “W. WOMEN IN ITALIAN DESIGN”, Ninth Edition of Triennale Design Museum,
Palazzo della Triennale, Milan. Curated by Silvana Annicchiarico, from April 2016 to February 2017
This two finger ring is conceived as a scene jewel necessarily visible from a distance; despite its size it weighs only 9,00 grams!
The concept, futuristic and poetic at the same time, is an imaginary journey set in an indefinite future onto the planet Venus, where the “mineral” later sculpted to create the ring was picked up.
The silver-coloured pigment is applied by means of a brush.

Boules d’eau avec fuchsia Gel pearls, fuchsia In this necklace pure experimentation is inspired by the uniqueness of the material, a non-toxic water-based polymer gel. The “beads”, which in the dry state are beads of few mm in diameter, if soaked for some hours, absorb water, greatly increasing their volume for the duration of 48-72 hours and then return to the initial state.

TUBES Anodized aluminium necklace, cotton tubular cord The tube is the projection of a circle in the space
In Tubes, composition – in the broadest sense of the term – represents the challenge of this collection, which has been designed using modules obtained from aluminium tube portions especially produced in different diameters and cut into different lengths, sandblasted and anodized in four colours. With these necklaces and bracelets the user may get fun in obtaining always different configurations, moving and rotating some mobile elements along the cotton tubular cord passing through the diameter.
HAPPY WIRE Detail of a sautoir, particular with Venetian gold-leaf inside glass beads The sautoir, a necklace of remarkable length, is in this case a chain composed by a sequence of hand-made links presenting an organic and lively silhouette. The brass wire is black galvanized*, Venetian crystal beads with gold-leaf inside are inserted in a free rhythm style. Lively and airy may well define the principles that express the identity of this collection.

EROSIONI Polished bronze and sandblasted gold plated bronze rings Tops of the rings are customized and obtained through chemical engraving.
CARIOCA Sanded and gold plated metal sautoir, enamel (resin), metal straw and filament under enamel The sautoir, a necklace of remarkable length, is in this case a free alternating of links specifically designed and cut by chemical engraving and rounded elements with cold enamels (synthetic resins) applied with pictorial attitude. Metal straws, small shells or tiny nuggets of pure metal (silver, copper) are embedded in the resin, a reference to “paillons” (tiny gold leaf in the shape of little leaves, stars, etc.) used in the historical technique of vitreous enamel.
